Once again as I finish night shifts and watch all of the Monday morning commuters make their way to work whilst wishing it was Friday afternoon once again I bring you my bookish moments of the previous week.
Still struggling but will get there eventually.
I cannot wait to get started with this one. The perfect winter warmer I hope!
Looking Forward to
I have read all of Sophie Kinsella’s previous books including her stand alone books.
I am über excited about this one.
What are you reading?
Yet another Monday has rolled around and my book list is still epically massive! Thanks to Sheila over at Book Journey all of us book lovers/geeks come together on this gloriously tiring day and share what we have read, plan to read etc. So whilst I am finishing my second to last night shift of the week and heading to bed with a nice cuppa and a couple of pages before I drift into the land of nod I thought I would share what I have been up to.
Sent from the lovelies at Harper Perennial US I am loving this book but struggling to get through it as sleep takes over me. Tomorrow I will be able to give it a little more attention!
Review posted HERE. Check it out and even grab a copy if you can.
I just LOVE Liane Moriarty’s writing so I am very much looking forward to this one. Although not looking forward to carrying it as it is a hefty hardback! May have to look into a Kindle version :(
What have you been reading?
This wonderful meme is the brainchild of Sheila from Book Journey. Sadly due to work commitments I do not partake as much as I would like. However my toe is dipped in the water enough to be classified as lukewarm!
This week there has not been much reading going on over a Blog A Book however I am aiming to catch up with myself – after the steak dinner and glass of red my friend will imminently provide.
So the nitty-gritty . . .
This book is surprisingly difficult to get into and my feelings towards it at the moment are far from positive. However thinking back to The End of Mr Y – I will stick with it for another 50 pages and see how I go.
All I need to say here is Marianne Kavanagh is a great writer and just all out lovely person. Her book was enjoyable as you can read HERE and she is just so sweet which you can see HERE.

As listed in my books to read in August this is the next book on my list that is one out of my pile of many that have been sitting there for some time. HOWEVER . . . There are a few books that I received the other day that I really do want to get stuck into. Take a look.
Nice little pile there right! Am I not a lucky girl! Well I think so anyway! Relevant thank you’s have been sent out over t’internet via the wonderful Instagram – click on the link you know you want to see what I get up to!
How is your Monday going so far?
Many Monday’s have passed with lots of goings on including reading, writing and just general life. However I have missed out on the weekly meme to update you lovely people on my not so exciting life. So here goes!
This is one book that I have picked up and put down quite a lot. However that is only due to lack of time, the writing style is fun and fancy free which means you can dip in and out without losing track of the story line. The copy that I have looks like a large print book however it is just quite a big page size – which I love.
On Friday I posted a list of books that I hope to finish in August and For Once in My Life is one of the three. Looks like I better get a move on.
