How Did I Get On?
Still working on the Christmas gift baskets for our mothers however it is taking longer than I anticipated due to lack of time to go out and shop for the contents. Bit by bit I am getting there – it will happen. On the wrapping side of things the other day I got into a bit of a wrapping frenzy put my audio book on and got cracking. With only 3 more presents to wrap and a couple more to buy I am pretty much all sorted.
One thing I do regret this year is not planning ahead enough to participate in The Broke & The Bookish Secret Santa – such a shame but next year will be a good one! (Not wishing the time away of course!).
Commenting has not been my strong point this week but I have visited almost 10 new blogs and let me tell you there are some awesome bloggers out there – as if you didn’t already know.

Once again I will be on Twitter & Instagram this afternoon whilst out and about!
See You There :D
This set of beauties are my picks for essential go to products during fashion week. Now some may think that there are items that are slightly older than others, however classics never really go out of style. Comfort and style are a must when you are traipsing around shows and trying to keep your eye out for that one piece that really stands out. I have yet to have my New York Fashion Week debut however I am sure I will get there one day! Heading for London Fashion Week may be a bit more achievable for now!
There are so many collections out there of what to wear and how to wear it and some items are truly fabulous. Keep your eyes peeled like I am and grab hold of those wardrobe staples as Winter is just around the corner. From Primark to AARK there is such a grand selection out there.
What will you choose?
The app market is saturated to the hilts with free and not so free photo editing apps. There are also plenty of posts about peoples most used and favourite editing apps. So . . . here are mine!
For dramatic stormy skies and scratchy vintage like finishes this is the app for you. Not only is it free but if you like the sort of app where you can just upload straight to many social networks this is great.
Add-ons plus minor twists and turns this app has pretty much everything you need to transform a plain Jane photograph into something spectacular. My favourite filter is . . .
A Beautiful Mess
Although I had to pay for this app (About £1 – I think!) there are a few nice features on this app. However the one disappointment is despite paying already for the privilege of taking up storage space on my phone if I were to use certain fonts I would have to pay more.
This is an app that I have neither used or owned however have looked and seen great things about it – I am still thinking about making the purchase but with so many other apps available for free it won’t be happening any time soon.
Lots of rave reviews for this lovely little app, however I am still waiting for it to show me it’s best. Maybe it is time to sit and play about with it a bit.
This app was introduced to me by some colleagues and although it is more about the instant photos rather than uploading and saving photos (saving on the memory) it isn’t really much different from instagram. The resemblance doesn’t stop from instagram even down to the apps icon.
What are your favourite photo apps?
Well. . . Not so much!
Things have been a little bit quiet over here on the blog and in general as night shifts started after only one day off. Hence the lack of time to blog a frolic!
If you remember a couple of posts ago I was letting loose about my feelings towards dating, online dating and the sites that provide such services. Now sift through if you wish but if you do remember Date 2 was the one that I was hoping to ‘revisit’. Needless to say it happened and we have had quite a bit of fun since, HOWEVER on one particular ‘date night’ the question was asked. No, noooo! Not will you be my . . . whatever you would like to enter in there.
Should we . . . um . . . invite someone else to join us. . . ?
At this point in time I will not be going into past experiences but for the present this was one experience that I was not willing to re-try. When asked why such a thought had crossed this particular guys mind the explanation was one that much thought had gone into – well possibly. The fact that his previous girlfriend was nothing but ‘frigid’ turned him into a wildling! Lucky me!
There are people out there that have been in relationships for years on end and those that have skipped from one relationship to another without any breaks and admittedly I used to be one of those as the comfort is something that is truly wonderful. After being single for almost two years I have to say I know how he feels to be free after years of one bad thing after another, yes there were fabulous times but you are single now so there is obviously a reason why things did not work out.
Being in a relationship is not a bad thing in the slightest but it is something that takes a lot of work from both sides and sometimes if one side just cannot be bothered things start to flail – which is a shame. He is one of the latter varieties (relationship to relationship) but even after a while away from attachment he is still wild. Now please do not mistake this post as me putting it out there and trying to change him as that is something that I out-and-out refuse to do. If a man does not want to change and actively goes out to do it himself then there is no woman out there short of Halle Berry (in the catsuit!) that can tempt a man.
Currently I would like to be in a relationship but I am at that point that I can take it or leave it if it is too much work at the start – I want something nice and easy to start with!
